Make a wonderfully ridiculous orchestra

Bring Goose’s musical muddle into your own room with a few everyday sounds, a conductor and a very dramatic stop.
What you’ll need.
- A table or your knees for a gentle drum
- A sheet of paper to rustle
- Your voice, hands and feet
Let’s try it.
- Each person chooses one sound: a knee-pat, a paper rustle, a hum or a clap. Try it softly, then try a different version.
- Choose a conductor. A raised hand means get ready. A pointing finger brings one sound into the band.
- Make a little pattern together. Let each player have a turn to lead it.
- The conductor closes both hands: everybody freezes. Make the silliest silent orchestra pose you can.
- Take a bow, swap jobs and invent a different concert. A short performance is a complete performance.
The story that started it.
Bear booms. Raccoon jingles. Nobody can hear Goose.
