A little look inside.

Goose has promised a concert. Bear has brought a very large drum, and Raccoon has a rack full of jingles. Share a noisy musical muddle as one important conductor tries to bring everyone together.

Read the pictures and words together, or let the cast tell the story while you turn the pages.

From the book

Shall we turn the page?

Goose welcomes Bear carrying enormous supported drum and Raccoon proudly presenting seventeen-bell rack. She gestures to rehearsal place, cap upright.
Goose had promised a concert at six. At five, Bear arrived with a drum as wide as a bathtub. Raccoon brought seventeen little bells. Goose brought a tune and a very important hat. “Shall we begin?”
Bear leans into drumbeat, Raccoon shakes rack in delighted solo; Goose waves rapidly but her hat slides over both eyes and her open beak goes unheard.
“With a tremendous BOOM!” “With a beautiful jingly solo!” Bear boomed. Raccoon jingled. Goose opened her beak, but nobody could hear her tune. She waved faster. They played faster. Her important hat slid over her eyes. “We seem to be giving three concerts.”
